FRESNO, Calif. – Cannon Sleep Products is returning to its roots with its rebranding initiative bringing focus back to its corporate name of Pleasant Mattress, Inc., which harkens back to the company’s founding name of Pleasant Bag Co. formerly located on Pleasant Avenue in Fresno, Calif.

West Coast mattress supplier Pleasant Mattress is fully vested in its 140 team members, recently celebrating its employee family by hosting 516 employees and family members for a day of fun at its 22nd Annual Summer Celebration.

Pleasant Mattress, based in Fresno, Calif., reports that it has donated 16 mattresses for individuals and families who have lost their homes in the Erskine Fire near Lake Isabella, Calif. In the last two months, fires have burned nearly 100,000 acres in California. As of July 11, the Erskine Fire had burned more than 60,000 acres, killed two people and destroyed more than 280 homes.
